Q: How soon do I have to wait to receive a response?

A: The turnaround time for all authentication services is up to 48 hrs.

Q: I purchased a certificate but you found my item to be a counterfeit. What happens next?

A: All items are authenticated before sending out certificates. If you purchase a certificate without having purchased an opinion first and it is found that the item is not authentic, the price to authenticate an item ($15.00) will be deducted from the amount paid and you will be refunded the difference.  Fees taken by PayPal are not refunded by us. No certificate(s) will be provided for counterfeit items.

Q: If the handbag that I purchased is fake, can you help me with my PayPal claim/case?

A: Yes, we have a service called “formal letter for claims” that you may purchase to use as proof for your payment processor dispute.  Don’t worry! We will make the statements necessary so that your claims investigator will have no choice but to approve your case.

Q: What type of payment do you accept?

A: We accept all major credit cards through PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to submit your purchase through PayPal.

Q: Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?

A: Yes, we currently offer services to small and large scale companies. Please review our order page.

Q: Where do I send photos of the item I am interested in?

A: Please send your photos to designerauthenticationinc@gmail.com

Please ensure a photo of the back, front, sides and closeups of hardware, inscriptions and logos are visible. If the item is located in an online marketplace, please send the associated link.

Q: Will I be notified once my order is complete?

A: Yes, you will be notified by email once your order is complete with our authentication certificate if you have purchased one. If you have purchased a printed certificate to be mailed, you’ll receive a tracking number for your certificate.

Q: I intend to purchase a designer item and would like to know if it is genuine or counterfeit. Can you help me?

A: Yes, we have an opinion based authentication service which is simply a reply regarding whether an item in question is genuine. This service does not include a Designer Authentication™ certificate.

Q: Do you authenticate jewelry and clothing?

A: Our specialty is in designer handbags but we do authenticate accessories, clothing, footwear and jewelry as well. Send us a message if you do not see a listed brand or would like to know whether we can authenticate a different item.

Q: I need to hear back from you quicker than your 48 hr time frame. Can you provide a quicker response?

A: Yes, for $15 additional, we can provide a reply within 11 hrs! Please purchase this upgrade in the shop section if you are interested.

Q: Do your wholesale packages expire?

A: Packages expire within 18 months so please utilize the full amount accordingly.

Policy for Resellers:

If you are a large-scale reseller and contacting for authentication services, you must disclose where you purchased the items in question. You also must state that you are purchasing authentication services with intent to resell. The service most suitable for large-scale resellers is the e-certificate package. 

We are not responsible for the decisions or actions that a reseller site may take against your account if you were found to participate in the sale of counterfeit items.
